What if you ...

Have a 'see more' button for very long posts.

Matt suggested, “There are a couple posts in my feed that are very long, which makes it tough to scan. It'd be nice if it just showed the first 200 words (and whatever media come before then) and hide the rest in a div that I can make magically appear.”

I've found I haven't really needed this now that there's keyboard navigation, since I can just “j” past a long post.

Do people find this a problem in practice? I'm not sure how it balances against the difficulty of implementing it.

Sure, I'd like to do this too.

I'd probably choose to do it by height if we can, though I guess that would require JavaScript to make/reveal the "see more" links. (I think that will be okay.)
